RMS Titanic was a british (the only good thing to come out of england) passenger liner operated by the white star line. she was the largest ship afloat at the time she entered service and the second of three olympic class ocean liners (her other sisters are olympic and britannic, the second of which also sunk after hitting a mine in ww1). she was designed to be the pinnacle of comfort and luxury, built with a gymnasium that was lined with state of the art equipment, a first-class heated swimming pool, high-end restaurants, opulent cabins and a gorgeous grand staircase.

as sad as it makes me to see her like this, i think an important part about studying the titanic is observing the wreckage
