my favorite iteration of him is new earth, so i'll be talking about that version of him
kon-el is a "clone" of superman created by project cadmus to replace clark after he died fighting doomsday. he's actually a human clone genetically engineered to look like superman and mimic his powers with tactile telekinesis. because of his whole clone shenanigans, he can't age and essentially has peter pan syndrome.
he has a lot of insane adventures granted that he's a literal superhero so i'm not gonna info dump too much, but my favorite by far is his debut, the reign of the supermen which also has a movie!! although the plot differs slightly from the comics, it's really good. kon is so cute there :')
